Domestic Packaging & Commercial Documentation Guidelines in Science City
Ensuring your domestic consignment travels smoothly through inter-state checkpoints requires proper packing and documentation:
- E-Way Bill Compliance: For commercial consignments valued over ₹50,000, an active E-Way bill accompanied by original GST sales invoices is legally required for inter-state highway transit.
- Sturdy Corrugated Boxing: Use 3-ply or 5-ply corrugated carton boxes suited to the parcel weight. Reinforce corners and seams with heavy-duty pressure-sensitive packaging tape.
- Accurate Recipient PIN Codes: Ensure the recipient full address, including the accurate 6-digit postal PIN code and working contact mobile number, is clearly labeled to eliminate delivery delays.
- Protective Internal Cushioning: For fragile or sensitive goods, line the interior with bubble wrap, thermocol sheets, or corrugated liners to prevent movement during road or air transport.
